The brisk late night breeze touches my face with it's fresh dance in the air. It's late night and I've just woken up. The landscape is a beautiful blend of the strengh and peace of the mountain landscape and the dynamic emptiness of the oceanview. My ears are filled with the constant noise of the waves colliding against the rocks in the distance and the whistle of the soft winds coming from the sea.
In this magnificent scenery I find myself utterly alone. There's nothing in the distance that can show that there's any sort of human presence more than my own. The nature seems intouched and totally dominates this world around me. The grim cloudy skies look a tad unfriendly from the ground and the thundering flashes seen in the distance show that soon enough, a storm will break turning this peaceful landscape into a disaster scene.
I find myself standing on a flat rock from where I can see almost as far as the horizon lets me. Albeit the cold breeze, I'm no feeling uncomfortable whatsoever, at least with what concerns thermal comfort, naturally. Because this loneliness is disturbing the mind immensely in a way that it struggles to make out it's truly nature. The damage inflicted by it cannot be seen even from the rock I'm standing. Everything seems so grim and lonely from here that I really cannot see the sun anymore.
It's a disconcerting thing, you know.
